Telephone Information

TSI has provided both a geographical number and non-geographical number wherever possible, as we are aware that it may be cheaper for some people to call a non 0845 number. 0845 numbers are charged by BT at the standard rate of 3.95p per minute peak, 1.48p per minute off-peak and 1p per minute at weekends. Other networks and mobile providers may charge more - you should check with your provider.

We use a suite of 0845 numbers for TSI operational purposes. These remain constant, whilst the background numbers change as officers of the Institute change. They also purposely screen the personal and direct numbers of some officers. This prevents TSI being able to supply a geographical number in some circumstances.

TSI and UK ECC earns no revenue from these numbers, but incurs charges from its provider.
