Call for help! Online holiday booking: is the indicated price the final price?

One of the projects of the European Consumer Centre Network (ECC-Net) in 2016 is regarding the subjects of advertising and pricing in the widely understood online tourist sector. This includes booking of flights, hotel accommodation, car hire, etc.

There are laws in place to protect consumers from paying excessive charges for processing the payment made by a particular method (e.g. credit card) and to ensure that the price quoted at the point of payment is the one ultimately paid by the consumers. We have created a short questionnaire to help us measure how these laws are observed in the European market and we would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to complete it.
