Package travel across the EU

This leaflet tells you what protection you get when you buy a package holiday and what elements need to be in place for your holiday to be considered as a ‘package’.

Consumer protection for holidays have been brought up to date with developments in the travel market with the introduction of the new 2018 Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations. It means that package holidays consisting of a flight, hotel, car-hire or other tourist services (either bought online for an all-in price or through linked webpages) get the same protection as packages bought in travel agencies.
